Injectables/Fillers

This Is Where The Magic Happens

What is Filler and How Does it Work?

Dermal fillers can replace or provide volume to help smooth wrinkles, plump the lips, add structure to the face, and restore a more youthful aesthetically pleasing appearance. Most derma fillers are known for creating fullness in the lips and filling in wrinkles and laugh lines.Β  Fillers typically work within a half hour, and the results can last up to a year or more. Unlike a Neurotoxin that relaxes the underlying muscles, derma fillers fill in areas under the skin to make trouble spots (Thin Lips, Fine Lines, Deep Lines, Wrinkles, and Hollowness) disappear. At Invigorate, we use filler to help clients with other areas of concern, including checks, hands, shallowness under the eyes, a weak chin, and much more.

Derma filler (More commonly referred to as filler) is one of the most effective tools to combat the signs of aging, as well as lip, chin, and check fullness and structure. In addition, fillers are one of the safest and most affordable cosmetic treatments available today. Fillers work by injecting Hyaluronic Acid – Revanesse, Juvederm, Restalynne or Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) -Sculptra underneath the skin to create a softer, more supple complexion.Β  They also add volume and structure. At Invigorate, we leverage different brands and injection techniques (Like Stacking) for our patient’s specific needs to ensure the most compelling results and reduce the appearance of age by as much as 10 years!

Why Filler?

Derma or facial fillers can offer a youthful appearance for a fraction of the cost of a traditional facelift. Even those who have facelifts will still leverage filler to reduce the signs of aging from lost collagen, elastin, and lip, cheek, and face fullness that cannot be addressed with a facelift alone.

Types of Filler

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)

The most popular category of facial fillers is hyaluronic acid-based. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that is already found in your skin. It helps keep skin plump and hydrated. HA fillers are typically soft and gel-like. The results are temporary, lasting six to twelve months or longer before the body gradually and naturally absorbs the particles. Most HA fillers are infused with lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during and after treatment. Each brand of filler that is hyaluronic acid-based works slightly differently. Several of the HA fillers we use have Expression Technology that ensures the face still moves, creating a natural appearance and preventing the fake frozen appearance. The duration of results can range from six months to a year or longer, and research shows that repeated treatments may encourage the body to make more of its own collagen.Β

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) is a synthetic, biocompatible substance that has been used in medicine for much of the last century. In dermal fillers, PMMA takes the form of a β€œmicrosphere” or tiny ball, that remains beneath the skin indefinitely to provide continued support. PMMA fillers also contain collagen, a naturally occurring substance in the skin that provides structure and firmness. This type of Filler works by getting the client’s body to generate new collagen over 2-3 months. PMMA fillers can produce longer-lasting results and can be permanent in some cases; however, unlike hyaluronic fillers, they take months to produce results because they are working to trigger the client’s own natural responses to generate collagen. PMMA filler is primarily used when a great deal of hyaluronic filler would be needed to create the desired look and we are working to achieve significant structural changes and improve immense losses on fullness.Β  We think of this filler like how fertilizer treats grass PMMA drives the growth of collagen. We never use this filler on lips. Click here for our brands

I Don’t Want To Look Fake

Customers who have never tried filler may be concerned that they will look fake or like Kim Kardashian. Finding the right Derma filler to treat your specific concerns requires exceptional training and an artist’s eye. The fillers we use each have unique properties and we specifically use a filler expression technology that is flexible, creating a natural look that moves with the face. A smooth-flowing hyaluronic acid gel may be perfect for plumper lips, while a thicker Derma filler is best used to add definition to the cheeks or chin.

Our medical providers at Invigorate are well trained injectors and artists. In fact, Robyn, our owner, has traveled Nationwide to train other professionals on how to do injections properly.

We understand facial anatomy and what is needed in each area to get the most natural-looking correction. At Invigorate, we take the time to ensure we understand each client’s personal goals and would rather have a client come back for a touch-up than over do them.Β  Check out our before and after pictures and our customer reviews to see our incredible team’s talent and real client results.
